The preparations are well underway for the 2020 Blaydon Race and as the region’s largest Club event, we rely on members, friends and family to help make it a roaring success every year.
Here’s how you can do your part:
The Big Lick
Friday 17th April 2020, 6:00pm, Blaydon Youth Club
All members over 16, we need your help for the Big Lick! For those who have not helped before, we pack the race numbers into self-seal envelopes that contain all information the runners need.
We ask for over 16s, as it’s not a hard job, but does require accuracy and concentration to ensure the runners receive the correct information.The Bag Pack
Monday 8th June 2020, 6:00pm, Blaydon Youth Club
All Seniors, Juniors over 11, and parents, please come along and help us pack the race bags. Many hands make light work, and hopefully we will finish by 8:00pm.

And of course on race day we need over 200 volunteers to make the race a success. More information will follow on volunteer roles we need to be filled.
