Twenty seven Blaydon Harriers took part in very windy conditions at Temple Park, South Shields. The day started in fine style, Max Murray 4th in the U11 boys followed by Robert Atkinson and Tom Wallace also 4th was Hazel Richardson in a U11 girls race. Grace Johnson was our only U13 girl. Will Collinson led in the U13 boys in 5th place followed home by Tom Burnett, James Leath, Alex Wallace and Jake Turner. An excellent U15 girls team was made up by Cecilia Reid 8th, Jessica Levy, Emma Burnett, Abbie Lewis and Rosa Edwards. U17 men’s team was Daniel Buffham, Luke Shears and Tom Rutherford. Senior Women first home was Joanne Ramshaw then Izzy Jackson, Deborah Collins, Joanne Edwards and Lynn Hepple making her cross country debut. Matt Alderson was first senior man in 33rd place closely followed by Isaac Dunn 37th then came Liam Friel, Phill Jobson and Stuart Moor, also making his debut. Next cross country, a real challenge is at Aykley Heads on November 18th. Are you tough enough to take it on?
