The elation of last week’s senior men didn’t last long, only five turned out so we couldn’t close a team. Nevertheless, a fantastic 33rd place by David Heslop means that in two races he has gone from slow pack to fast pack. Excellent running, some solid performances from Alex Muir, Alan Armstrong both from the medium pack, Eric Lewis and Matthew Alderson who ran from the fast pack.
I have left the ladies untill last, as once again they were the stars of the show! Laura Kinkaid, Gillian Pearson, Lynne Michelson, Liane Brown and Jo Edwards battled through the mud to win Div 3 today with 41 points. Could they end up division champions? HOWAY THE LASSES!
