27 Blaydon Harriers lined up on a superb cross country course yesterday.
U/11 Boys. Joseph Lonnergan, Max Murray and Tom Wallace started the day off. Joseph in his first start for Blaydon finishing a very creditable 11th.

Will Collinson making his debut for the bees undoubtedly had the run of the day, leading from gun to tape and winning the U/13 boys race. Well done Will, hope it’s the first of many. Sam Gill, Will Batey, James Leath, Alex Wallace and Aaron Edwards followed home.
Only two U/13 girls Cecilia Reid running from the fast pack and Emma Burnett.
Daniel Buffham, Luke Shears and Tom Rutherford were our U/15 boys, can’t praise these three lads enough, all running from the fast pack totally reliable, always turn up.
Only two U/15 girls Abbie Lewis and Emily Walters, Abbie had her best race of the season 8th and is promoted to the fast pack.
Our only U/17 man Jack Bowden was 16th running from the fast pack.
Once again only two U/17 ladies Beth Fraser and Emily Gill.
Two senior women, Laura Kincaid and Eleanor Bradbury, Eleanor running from the fast pack. Due to parking problems, the event was running 45 minutes late, Gillian Pearson was unable to run as she had to start work at 3.00pm and had to leave before the race started.
Alan Armstrong, Matthew Alderson, Jamie Boswell, Simon Evans, Eric Lewis and Gavin Burn were our senior mens team. Matt running from the fast pack. Alan Armstrong will join him in the fast pack after finishing in 47th place.
Next race is 10th December. The North Eastern Championships at Aykley Heads.
