1st lad for the club to cross the finish line was Matthew Alderson knocking almost a minute off last year with a chip time of 30.55 and our 1st lass was Eleanor Bradbury who in recent years has missed the race due to being at University. Eleanor crossed the line in a very impressive 35.36.

All our runners worked together at the start of the race helping load baggage buses which was a great help so thank you to you all for pulling together with some great teamwork.
A few of the women used the bus trip into Newcastle as an opportunity to get a ‘Go Faster Plait’ in their hair from Bernie James. The perks of having a hairdresser on the team!!
After the race the lads and lasses had some congratulating to do as a lot of the team had achieved PBs, many of them knocking minutes off last years times.
