25 Blaydon Harriers competed at a cold but sunny Temple Park today. Tom Wallace was our only U/11 boy.
U/13 boys led home by Sam Gill, then James Leath, Tom McDarby, Aaron Lillistone, Tom Burnett and Alex Wallace.
An U/13 girls team of Cecilia Reid, Fran Recchia and Grace Johnson.
Only two U/15 girls Rosa Edwards and Emily Walters.
Likewise, only two U/15 boys Luke Shears and Daniel Buffham.
Only one U/17 boy, Jack Lillistone, but perhaps the run of the day. Jack is an excellent sprinter who has competed at the English Schools. He ran two full laps and he wasn’t last, much to his parents delight!
Two U/17 women Beth Fraser and Emily Gill.
Gillian Pearson, Laura Kincaid and Jo Edwards were our senior women’s team. Jo an ever present this season.
The men’s team was led home by Matthew Alderson then Simon Evans, Eric Lewis and Philip Jobson making his Blaydon debut and Lee Pattison.
Back on Harrier League duty next Saturday at Thornley Hall Farm, Peterlee.
