The Quayside 5K and Junior 3K were held on a gloriously sunny evening on Wednesday 7 August 2024. The race, hosted In partnership by RunThrough and Gateshead Harriers & AC, follows a flat, out-back course along the Newcastle-Gateshead Quayside and offers an ideal opportunity for athletes to go for a personal best.
The Club was well represented with 21 athletes running. In the A Race Peter Hodgson finished fifth in his category and Ellie Fellows came an amazing second in the U17 ladies. In the B Race Roselle Oberholzer finished first in her category and Nicola Alderson came fourth in hers. James Gray finished first U17 male, finishing sixth in the overall race. One or two PBs there too...
