NEYDL Whitley Bay

First NEYDL track and field meet of the season hosted by North Shield Poly at their home track, Churchill playing fields in Whitley Bay.  It was a cold wet and windy start to the day, however it did dry up later in the morning so wasn't all bad. A  headwind also unfortunately meant that track PBs were not going to be smashed today.

Blaydon were missing a number of key junior athletes and struggled to fill all the events, this was possibly due to the competition falling on a bank holiday weekend. Our team were fantastic and we finished third overall on the day.
