It was a beautiful evening last night down on the Tyne for the Elswick Harriers Newburn River Run. Despite it being a flat five mile course, the balmy summer evening made it a tough run. That said, there were some very speedy times, with Alex Muir being the first Blaydon Harrier to finish in 27:30, coming 9th overall. A gorgeous evening was made even better with an ice cream supper.
