What a fantastic day for Blaydon Harriers at the NEHL Alnwick Castle Cross Country on 1 March 2025! Our young athletes delivered outstanding performances, showing grit, determination, and excellent teamwork throughout the day.
A huge well done to Aaron Jobson for securing first place in the under-15 boys’ race! His dedication and strong finish made us all incredibly proud.
Not only did Aaron take the top spot, but our senior women’s team and under-15 boys’ team both finished first in their divisions, a remarkable achievement. The commitment and hard work of every runner played a key role in these victories.
Every athlete gave 100 percent, most importantly, there were smiles on everyone’s faces, proving just how much they enjoyed the competition.
Our induction group tackled the infamous hill of death with incredible resilience, setting the tone for an inspiring day of racing. Across all junior age groups, we saw smart pacing, determination, and a true display of the Blaydon Harrier spirit.
A massive thank you to the parents and Club members who made the trip to support and help on the day. Your encouragement and assistance are invaluable to our athletes and Club.
Keep up the amazing work, everyone!
