It wasn’t only the Toon that were on fire yesterday, there was some star quality running from the Blaydon lads and lasses at the Gateshead Trail 10k.
Matthew Armstrong was the first Blaydon lad back (37:15) followed by Robb Young (38:30) who’s had a great week of racing. Shortly followed by David Graham, Tim Nichol (45:00) and new members Callum Fairlamb and Lauren Peart (54:33).
Well done to the speedy lasses Letha Whitman (43:17) and Emma Cartwright (43:35) who did amazing despite racing on tir..ed legs from the Quayside 5k on Wednesday.
A special mention goes to Robert Atkinson who won the under 18s race.
A superb week of racing from the bees.
