Five Blaydon Harriers took part in the Newburn River Run on a very warm, sticky night.
First home was Gavin Burn followed by Liam Friel, Simon Evans, Stu Beryl and Gillian Pearson. Eric jogged along to offer support and encouragement.
Liam and Stu were both 4th placed in their age group and Gill 3rd place in her age group.
Thanks to Coach John MacPhail for coming along to take photos and to Elswick Harriers for a great 6 mile race and the yummy goody bags with sarnies and pies in back at Newburn Leisure Centre!
