Another sunny day saw 27 Blaydon Harriers at picturesque Duridge Bay for the 2nd EHL.
Max Murray and Tom Wallace led off in the U/11 Boys, quickly followed by the U/13 Boys Sam Gill, Tom McDarby, James Leath, Aaron Edwards and Alex Wallace.
Fran Recchia’s excellent 5th place will see her promoted to the fast pack for the rest of the season, Grace Johnson on her debut, backing her up. Unfortunately, Emma Burnett turned her ankle on one of the molehills at the top of the course and did not finish, never mind loads more races yet!
Our three reliable U/15 Boys were led home by Daniel Buffham closely followed by Luke Shears and Tom Rutherford.
Rosa Edwards was first back for Blaydon in the U/15 Girls event followed by the ever present Emily Walters and Brenna Orr.
Our only U/17 Man had the run of the day for Blaydon, finishing in 3rd place and is promoted to the fast pack.
U/17 ladies were Beth Fraser and Innes Orr.
We only had one senior lady, Jo Edwards who also ran at Wrekenton.
Senior Men were led home by Capt. Flint, followed by Alan Armstrong, Simon Evans, Liam Friel, Parry Garraghan, Eric Lewis and Lee Pattison making his debut in the Harrier League.
Next Cross Country, The Sherman Cup/Davison Shield at Temple Park on 19th November followed by the 3rd Harrier League at Thornley Hall Farm, Peterlee on 26th November.
