Despite the grim weather we had a great turn out for the Club mile race on Thursday 26 October 2023. Members new and old turned out to see who could take home the bragging rights, could anyone beat club legend, Alan Dent’s best of 4:48 from 2001?
Kudos to young speedster Max Murray, who secured the win in 4:37. It was lovely to see long serving members getting back involved.
We ended the evening with food and a pub quiz at The Runhead. Safe to say we’re better runner than quizzers!!!
